Silent Retreats - Doorway to Discovery

Doorway to Discovery Retreats are designed to create an environment where participants can give their undivided attention to growing in their relationship with God. In a formatted mix of worship, prayer, teaching, reflection, and extended periods of silence, retreatants have the opportunity to rid themselves of daily distractions, reflect on the truth of God’s Word, and consider their current situation in life. It is a time to discover more about God, what it means to believe in Jesus Christ, and how to live the fullness of life God desires for each of us.

These guided silent retreats include a mix of worship, prayer, teaching, reflection, and extended periods of silence for the purpose of allowing God to teach you to pray and to pray more effectively.  Immediately following each teaching session, participants can walk the grounds, use the prayer chapel, or return to their room to meditate upon the assigned texts and pray through any personal application. Reflections may be recorded in a personal journal for follow-up after the retreat.

Retreats take place in March and November.  Check below for upcoming dates.
