What We Believe

  • We accept the Bible as the revealed will of God, wholly and undivided, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice; and for the purposes of maintaining spiritual unity adopt the following statement of fundamental truths:
  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the only infallible, authority for life and faith.
  • We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and imminent return in power and glory.  Jesus Christ, as God's only Son, is true God and true man, the eternal Word of God and the only Savior of the world.
  • We believe that we are dependent upon the Holy Spirit to call unbelievers into saving faith in Jesus Christ, to empower believers to grow in sanctification, to bestow gifts for the ministry of the church, to inspire love for one another, and to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that the ancient ecumenical creeds, Apostolic, Nicene, and Athanasian, are true and accurate representations of the Christian faith.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
